I often get asked what traditional and digital marketing is. So I thought I would clear stuff out by making another e-book.
Traditional and digital marketing are both heavily used still today, although rumours that traditional advertising will die out. We have seen a decrease of ads in printed form, such as newspaper and magazines, as well as brochures, pamphlets and direct mail, since Internet came. But TV continues to to stay strong, making up 33.6% of worldwide ad spendings.
I don't think traditional will die out. I actually think that traditional marketing activities can have a major impact on a campaign's overall success if done right and syncronized with digital activities.
So, how do you choose mediums when starting a marketing campaign? Well, it depends on your goals, budget and other resources. In the e-book, I've (tried to) clarify the difference between the two marketing styles, so that you can make an informed decision before starting with your marketing. I have also added my personal favorites of success stories in both categories, from companies like Coca-Cola, Carlsberg and Adidas. I hope it can inspire you and your business. (And if not, you'll at least get a good laugh).
